sculptural encaustic

These sculptural works emerge from a skeleton of wire, layered with plaster and paper maché, then infused with molten encaustic—a process echoing cycles of growth and renewal. As wax builds and is carved away, past forms dissolve to reveal new surfaces, embodying transformation through both concealment and exposure. These pieces stand as a physical record of material evolution, where fragility and resilience coexist.
